LLR-LSI HPC Cluster

LLR ( Laboratoire Leprince-Ringuet ) and LSI ( Laboratoire des Solides Irradiés) are two laboratories on the Ecole Polytechnique campus. Since 2013 these two labs started collaborating to the deployment of a common High Performance Computing infrastructure. A small (Tier-2/Tier-3) HPC cluster mostly meant for pre-production purposes.

Partners

The LLR-LSI HPC Cluster is co-funded by multiple projects and institutions. The leading funding partners are: Galop Project, Ecole Polytechnique and Institut national de physique nucléaire et de physique des particules (IN2P3).

Contacts

New partners and participants are always welcome so please send us a mail if you want to know more about the project.

    People

    Users Coordination

The users of the LLR-LSI Cluster are grouped in a User Commitee coordinated by Arnaud Beck (Lead Computing Engineer for the Galop Project). The users have a mailing list and a common documentation.

    Technical Team

the technical management of the LLR-LSI Cluster is assured by a team of engineers from the IT-departements of the two labs.

  • From LLR IT group: Pascale Hennion, Julien Tugler, Andrea Sartirana.
  • From LSI IT group: Andrea Cucca.
